Presentation of the research project “Divorces in Kosova in the period of 2000-2008

The Research Center for Juridical, Criminological and Security Studies of AAB University presented the results of the research project “Divorces in Kosova in the period of 2000-2008”.

This is the first project realized by this Center.
Previous to the presentation of the results, Vesel Latifi, Head of the Research Center for Juridical, Criminological and Security Studies said that the project contains the statistic of divorces in the postwar period in Kosova and he also stressed the key points of this project.

Furthermore, Hamdi Podvorica said that the aim of this project was to have an insight in the statistics of divorces provided by the local courts throughout Kosova and thus to compare the figures of marriages and of the divorces and also to conclude the reasons for the results.

Finally, Valbon Mulaj presented the results of the project and finished his presentation by giving some conclusions to the respective institutions.
